This place is so beautiful and the hosts are fantastic! They make you feel right at home the entire time you are there. Janice makes gourmet food and drinks in the morning in a wonderful homey dining setting. If you want to relax and feel at home, look no further.
You can't find this atmosphere anywhere else. We love coming here, enjoying the company of the owners and other guests, and eating the amazing food. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
BEWARE- this place is a scam. Only reason they have no refund policy. We drove 8 hours to stay here after booking group on deal. Once get check in they have you go on near hour drive straight up mountain. Upon arriving the grill was not usable, it was 1-2 ft off ground & leaning backwards badly it was also surrounded by unkept overgrown weeds. The hot tub was dirty, sand all over bottom. The deck was in need repairs, boards moved when walked on it. The towels were mismatched & hard, probably 10 years old from looks. The mattress was dirty & felt springs & sank badly. We immediately drove the hour drive back to check in office. However the owners weren't there, we called but they wouldn't meet us there. They told us had another better cabin for us try. It was 50 minutes away. We drove there only to arrive and find another couple naked in the hot tub. The cabin was already booked. We were mortified. We then had driven 3 hours since first tried check in at this point. We call owner ask for refund & he refused. He didn't care whole ordeal we went through after traveling 10 hours. He refused give us our money even though we never stayed. We were stuck scrambling find hotel last minute. Our cooler full food n all our stuff for cabin couldn't use since hotel then. The owner are completely unreasonable & don't care if customer isn't satisfied. Totally rip off & why have no refund policy. There's lots other similar complaints. Worst experience of my life over my birthday at that.
We stayed in the "Mountain Berry" cabin and absolutely loved it. The drive to anywhere from the cabin is a bit long, but so very worth it if you want a secluded getaway. Loved the heart shaped jacuzzi and the hot tub. Beautiful and cozy on the inside with good AC. We'll definitely be back
Beautiful babbling brook. Horses running free within the whole property. The deep smell of oak. Gorgeous hearts of the caretaker/owners. A jacuzzi tub and detached shower head in every room. Breath taking mountain views. Honestly, what more do you want?!
